The Conference was organized by the Athens International Airport. During the Conference, the organizer organized a series of activities to promote exchanges among the participants on the development of the airport cities (see the appendix for detailed arrangements). The theme of the Conference focused on the experiences and prospects of airport cities, with subtopics focusing on the development of airport cities, partnerships among airport cities, green airport cities, and the administration of airport cities. Many well-known international experts and scholars in the world’s aviation industry as well as the CEOS, the directors of international airports, attended the Conference and gave speeches on special subjects.




Ms. Ellen Hu Hong, Vice President of ACL, delivered a keynote speech at the Conference. Desmond Shum, Vice Chairman and CEO of ACL, has made speeches in previous conferences and actively contributed to discussion on development of airport cities.



As the organizer of the Airport Cities World Conference & Exhibition 2010, ACL will also hold a farewell dinner at the 2009 ACE to promote the event in Beijing.
