Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone


Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the functionality integration of the Free Trade Zone, Export Processing Zone and Bonded Logistic Park. The unique ‘three-in-one’ platform of these functions and the additional advantage of special customs supervision allows for an unprecedented level of preference policies and operational efficiency and timesaving.


This comprehensive bonded area (also known as bonded port area) was established with approval of the State Council of China, drawing on experience gained from other advanced free ports in other nations. Situated at open ports and specific adjacent areas, it is a special customs regulatory area which functions as a port, logistics and commodity processing facility.


The comprehensive bonded area is able to accommodate the functions of existing bonded areas, bonded logistics parks and export processing areas, while at the same time enjoying all the benefits of all favorable policies. Boasting the most comprehensive functionality and enjoying the most favorable policies, it is a fledgling free trade area.


Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone (FTZ), approved by the State Council on 23rd July, 2008, is the first airport-based Free Trade Zone in China.
